Estimate
Works out what the satellite can still do from its own telemetry, with honest uncertainty.
SPACECRAFT RECOVERY, RECONSIDERED
Noesis works out what a damaged satellite can still safely do, and gets it back to work instead of waiting days for engineers on the ground.
01 / THE PROBLEM
After a fault, satellites shut down and wait. Engineers spend days figuring out what happened, often recreating the fault on hardware testbeds, while every safety check still uses limits set before launch.
of surveyed CubeSats reported in-orbit power-system issues.
02 / HOW IT WORKS
Works out what the satellite can still do from its own telemetry, with honest uncertainty.
Builds recovery plans within those limits.
An independent physics check approves every plan. If nothing is provably safe, existing fault protection stays in charge.
Starts as a ground tool on your telemetry, then runs onboard in shadow mode, then takes on approved recoveries.
03 / RESULTS
In simulation, after a solar-array fault, Noesis took 61 photos vs 40 for today’s approach, while its battery never dropped below 82% (vs 34%).
Development simulation of a 6U CubeSat; not flight results.
04 / BUILD WITH US
We’re working with early design partners: satellite operators, CubeSat teams and spacecraft manufacturers. If your team has dealt with an anomaly, we’d love to hear how recovery works for you today.
